Join our group

If you’re fascinated by black holes, gravity, and the deep connections between theoretical physics and astrophysical observations, consider joining our research group! To get started, you should have completed (or are taking) Mechanics and Linear Algebra; prior experience with general relativity or astrophysics is helpful but not required. Most importantly, you should enjoy theoretical work, coding in Mathematica, collaborating in small groups, and have a genuine passion for gravitational physics. I offer independent study (PHY297) or directed research (PHY299, 399) positions during the academic year, and summer MAP positions (PHY399, 499) when I don’t have travel plans. If you’re interested, come chat with me about possible research directions!
